It’s a courageous example we all can admire: no one is above the law. While here in the U.S., only petty criminals like Bernie Madoff get prosecuted, and for stealing a paltry $50 Billion. U.S. taxpayers have forty times that much stolen from them right out in the open, it gets called “bailouts” and “stimulus” but goes to favored insiders and TBTF banks. The central bank debauches the currency. And no one gets prosecuted.
Ask Icelanders what their liberty is worth to them when their economy has been completely destroyed by greedy banking mayhem. How can you be free when you can’t even earn a living? How can you be free if you can’t afford to put food on the table because the currency has been destroyed, and your life savings along with it? How can you be free if the value of the “money” you use in your daily life is stolen from you by the whim of a central bank?
Icelanders are courageous enough to have someone’s butt in a sling; are you?
